Yeah , this was very interesting. You gave me more insight on how to really accept these feelings of anger, fear, sadness and depression.

This really helped. Many times I’ve started a new goal and then had to shift to other things. Underlying guilt and other feelings about not accomplishing seemed to linger and affect the present. Over time and unknowningly, these feelings created a hesistation when wanting to start a new goal, then of course that would lead to feeling stuck. Your session got to the root. It’s not just about having positive thoughts but about clearing those feelings and thoughts that never got resolved and which keep creeping up. Thank you!

Right! Haven’t earned ‘deserving’. That seems to be this issue! Thanks!

Thanks for this. It’s amazing how convoluted our beliefs about perfection, judgment and undeserving make such blocks. You are spot on!

    Margaret,
    Thank-you so much. Wonderful!

I am new to tapping and I still have lots of learning to do, so here is a question.

I used a past ‘failed business goal’ to tap along with you. Two things happened.

First, I felt a deep compassion for my Self, that i had not ever felt before – and with it came a kind of ‘spiritual salve’ which ‘poured’ into my heart. Thank-you for leading me to this experience.

The second thing that happened was that another completely different ‘failed goal’ came into my mind (persistently) as I was tapping on the first goal. I am guessing that I can now address this second goal using your wonderful ideas. (The nature of the second failed, persistant goal is however, not around business, work or projects. It was around healing an injured relationship with my parents when they were alive – one which continues to hurt years after their deaths. Can I do this type of goal using your tapping content from these two videos?

Bless you and all the folks tapping world round. Wonderful!

    Hi Tappmep,
I would tap on this second “failed” goal more specifically as this is a much bigger and more charged issue.

So I would name it exactly in the tapping and how you are judging yourself and the situation. On this issue, because it broke other rules for you…rules about family and your role as a daughter, who you want to be as a good person , who takes the high road….there is much more charge.
This is why your mind is saying, “nope, I can’t just let myself off the hook for THIS one!”

I would try tapping on the classic mind loop “I should have done it better, I should have known better at the time, what I did was unforgivable” a lot because often this is the judgment that is hard to break. (hard because it is a thought pattern, not a real feeling, the mind only judges, it cannot feel or forgive)

And basically you are refusing to forgive yourself for it. I would also add in your judgment about “the kind of person that would do something like that” because this is also the judgment you have about yourself, and words like “and that is unacceptable, unforgivable” After tapping on it alot, really insisting that you are “unforgivable”, and it softens a bit, try to see yourself back then with everything you had going on….were you doing your best? Were you doing the best you knew how at the time given how hurt or overwhelmed you were? Yes, of course you were.

This is when the heart opens (the 4th chakra) and we recognize we have always been doing our best and there is actually nothing to forgive. Remember that the SECOND you criticize yourself, the instant…your heart chakra closes.

Once we process and tap away all that mind chatter “I should have known better, blah blah blah”, forgiveness rushes in …just as you described it so beautifully!

And this is very very important…the second you feel that compassion for the Self and your heart chakra opens, you suddenly honor and recognize your deserving! Whereas the previously stuck judgment is always vibrating to the universe “I don’t deserve (cause I should have done better)”

This is huge vibrational shift for the law of attraction! XOXOXOXOX

Thank you Margaret. I had an outpouring of tears in the very last positive session. It is clear that my “failed” business issue has been something preventing me from moving forward for a long time (since November ’09). My life was a mess during the entire time I was creating this business and I became obsessed. In the end it “failed” and I never achienved the ultimate goal to sell the business (which brings up tons of other issues that need to be tapped on). I am doing this last part several times to bring that good feeling into my life so I can finally move on.

I was wondering when you are tapping why you don’t use the under arm point. Is there a particular reason as I want to make sure my tapping is as effective as possible. Thanks so much for your amazing insights.
